2.1 Add an energy counter by serial communication (RTU, ASCII)
The following procedure describes how to add a new energy counter combined to an RS485 MODBUS module
using serial communication (RTU, ASCII).
Enable the communication channel of PC serial port where the RS485 MODBUS module is connected.
Click on Serial port item in the left column. The following parameters are shown.

Select the PC COM port where the RS485 MODBUS module is connected and the relevant communication speed
(Baudrate). Confirm with Apply key.
Click on button to enable the communication channel of PC serial port.
