Answering machine (only tiptel 291/293)
Message transfer settings
In the case of a message transfer, recorded incoming messages are transferred to a program-
med telephone number. Here, you can make out all settings the device needs to perform a mes-
sage transfer. Please be aware that you also need to activate the remote interrogation in
order to use this function.
1. Press the  or  button to select
"settings".
2. Press the  button.
3. Press the  button.
4. Press the  or  button to select
"message transfer".
5. Press the  button.
6. Press the  or  button to select the
MSN.
7. Press the  button.
8. Press the  or  button to select a
function.
9. Press the  button.
For message transfer:
8. Press the  or  button.
ICM before transfer:
8. Use the numeric keypad to enter a
number between 1 and 9.
Destination number:
8. Enter the telephone number via the
numeric keypad.
Every time you press the button, the display
switches between the available functions.
The display shows "answering machine".
The display shows "Outgoing message".
The display shows "message transfer".
The display shows "MSN 1".
Select the MSN for which you want to set-up
a message transfer.
The display shows "message transfer off".
The display switches between the functions
message transfer, message collection and
telephone number.
The cursor is displayed for the selected func-
tion.
The display switches between on and off:
on: message transfer on
off: message transfer off.
Here, you define the number of messages to
be collected before a message transfer is
executed
Here, you enter the destination number for
message transfer.
