PC connection / TipKom
The software "TipKom for Windows" from the scope of supply enhances the functional scope of
your tiptel 83 system, e. g. by the options:
❍ Loading and saving the call number memory
❍ Call data management
❍ Change of settings
❍ Dialling
❍ Loading a new operating software. You will always find the latest operating software version
and the latest PC software and TAPI driver in the Internet under www.tiptel.de.
Installation
❍ Connect your tiptel 83 system to any serial interface of your PC. Should you only have a
25-pin port free at your PC, you can use a customary adapter (9 pin <> 25 pin).
❍ Insert the TipKom disk and start the "SETUP" program. Then, just follow the given instruc-
tions.
Further information
On the disk, you will find a comprehensive software documentation giving you information on the
handling and the functionality. Just start the help function in the TipKom software.

❍ VGA monitor
❍ Sound card (optional)
❍ 4 MB RAM
❍ Mouse
