Room monitoring
You can monitor rooms, in which your handset is located, from elsewhere.
Requirement: The Room monitoring function must be enabled on the
handset in the room to be monitored. The telephone, with which you dial from
elsewhere, must be set to DTMF dialling mode. Lift the handset and dial the
call number. The base station rings once and the telephone ties up the line.
Then enter the four-digit access code. (For details on programming the
access code, see Page 49).
The handset rings briefly then switches to listening mode and you can hear
what is happening in the room. If you prefer silent monitoring without the
single ring, you should deactivate the ringing tone on the base station and the
handset (see Page 32 and 35).
Make sure that you observe data protection laws when using silent
monitoring.
Before you turn on the Room monitoring function, the access
code must be programmed (see Page 49)

List of released numbers for ringing signals
The list of released numbers for ringing signals can be used to store up to 10
call numbers, which cause the handset to ring when they call. For all other
calls, the handset does not ring. The calls can only be seen visually in the
handset display. The base station rings for all calls.
The list of released numbers for ringing signals must be turned on or off using
the menu. It is a pre-requisite that the callers number is transferred and
presented (CLIP).
Either just the list of released numbers for ringing signals or just the list of
restricted numbers for ringing signals can be turned on. If neither of the two
lists is turned on, ringing is in normal mode.
