Startup

Scope of delivery

Before installation, please check that the delivery is complete. The delivery includes:

• 1 VoIP module

• 1 Installation guide (this document)

Notes on installation

• Installation must be carried out by an expert. Installation work on a 230V mains

network must only be carried out by a qualified electrician. VDE 0100 must be

observed.

•

In the event of malfunctions, the power cable must be pulled out of the socket,

the device disconnected from the LAN, and if necessary, the ISDN connection

cable removed from the NTBA.

Environmental compatibility

If the device is used correctly, contact with hazardous materials cannot occur. Our

packaging does not contain any plastics. We use only cardboard and paper from

partially recycled materials.

System Requirements

Configuration of the system incl. VoIP module:

•

PC or MAC with configured Ethernet network connection

• Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later, or

Mozilla Firefox version 1.0 or later, or

Opera version 8.5 or later, or another Javascript-enabled web browser

VoIP module operation:

• tiptel.com 410/401, 810/801, 411/402 or 811/802 for installation

• Network (LAN) connection

• Existing broadband internet access (e.g. ADSL)
