To Set Up a Conference
1. Make a call to the first extension or outside number.
2. Press
Conference after the person answers and you
have announced the call.
The green light next to the line button flashes quickly, signaling that
the call is on hold for the conference.
3. If the next call is an inside call, press an ICOM or SA
button; if it is outside, press an SA or line button.
NOTE:
If you have an available SA button, the system
automatically selects one.
CAUTION:
If the system selects an SA Voice button
when adding a conference participant, you
hear a beep instead of ringing after you dial
the extension to be included in the
conference. If the call is not answered, and
you press Conference to complete the call,
your conversation with other parties on the
conference is broadcast on that extension’s
speakerphone. Be sure to
Drop an
unanswered extension on an
SA Voice button
to prevent an unintentional broadcast from
happening.
