13.4. Speaker Sound Pressure Level Measurement
[Measuring instrument: Sound level meter (A weighting network characteristics)]
Measure the output sound pressure level at a 1 meter distance from the center of the installed speaker when
the voice alarm second signal is sounding at the rated output. Check to confirm that the output sound
pressure level is greater than the value shown below depending on the type of speaker.

92 dB or greater
87 dB or greater
84 dB or greater
How to sound the second signal
1. Press the [Emergency] key.
2. Select the line to measure using the [Zone selection] key.
3. Press either the [Evacuation announcement] or [Emergency] key to make the evacuation announcement.
4. Press and release the PA microphone's talk key.
After this procedure is completed, the second signal is sounded from the speaker to measure.
Note: Measure the speaker sound pressure level after registration completion.
14. POWER-ON AND INSPECTION
Turn on the AC breaker of the Junction Panel JP-0410, and check to confirm that
the main power indicator lamp of the Integrated Control Panel EP-0510 lights.
the charging indicator lamp on the Emergency Power Supply Panel DS-029B lights.
(Note that the lamp for the channel not connected to the battery does not light.)
smoke is not emitted or the fuse does not blow.
