IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and/or
injury to persons, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug or appliance in water or
other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning.
5. Do not pull, twist or otherwise abuse cord.
6. Avoid contact with moving parts.
7. Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to nearast authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. Do not let power cord hang over edge of a table or countertop (where it can be
accidentally pulled) or touch any hot surface.
9. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
10. Never operate any appliance on top of a non-heat-resistant or ammable surface.
11. Never leave appliance unattended when in use.
12. Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven
or microwave.
13. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
14. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause
re, electric shock or injury.
15. Do not open pressurized (aerosol-type) cans.
16. Do not open cans of ammable liquids such as lighter uid.
