本品はクランクシャフトのストローク量を４mm延長したクランクシャフトを採用し、

専用の鍛造ピストンと組み合わせて使用することで排気量アップが可能となります。

構成部品の確認 EJ26KITの構成はクランクシャフト、コンロッド、ピストンキットのセットです。 EJ26KIT（EJ26用ピストンキット単体)では、下記の部品がピストン数量分あることを確認してください。 1 1 2 ピストン本体ピストンピンピンクリップトップリングセカンドリングオイルリング 1 1 1セット注意 ■本品は自動車競技専用です。サーキットや公道から閉鎖されたコース内に限って使用してください。 ■自動車競技という特殊用途に用いる為、取り付けは特別の訓練を受けた整備士が、設備の整った作業場で実施してください。 ■取り付けの際は、適正な工具と保護具を使用しないとけがにつながり危険です。 ■必ず富士重工業の発行する整備要領書の指示に従い脱着を行って下さい。 EJ26KITでは付属された「Ｈ断面コンロッド取扱説明書」を併用してください。 ■本品を装着する際に、各部品間の干渉を避けるため部品の加工が必要です。 ■指定したエンジン以外への取り付けはできません。指定したエンジン以外に取り付けると各部が適合せず、本品、およびエンジン本体を破損します。 ■本品は高回転、高出力に対

２．バリ取り、Ｒ仕上げキット内のピストンを使用する場合、ピストン角部、スカート下端については＃400程度のサンドペーパーで面取り、Ｒ仕上げ、バリ取りを実施してください。規定値 R 0.3 ３．ピストンリング合い口調整、測定キット内のピストンを使用する場合下記の調整、測定を行ってください。 ① ピストンを利用して、リングをシリンダーの中間位置まで挿入しシックネスゲージで合口の測定を実施します。 ② 合口寸法を規定値と比較し、規定値より狭い場合は、ダイヤモンドヤスリを用いて規定値まで合口を広げます。約50mm 規定値(mm) シックネスゲージトップリング 0.18~0.35 セカンドリング 0.18~0.35 オイルリング 0.15∼0.

（２）ピストンリングの確認キット内のピストンを使用する際、ピストンリングの取り付けにおいて下記の点を注意してください。 ① リングの上下面トップリングリングの打刻マーク側を上にしてください。セカンドリング打刻マーク ②オイルリングサイドレールの合口ピストンマークオイルリングサイドレールの回り止めをピストン側の凸部に入れて組付けを行ってください。サイドレールロア側回り止めサイドレールアッパー側回り止めオイルリング回り止め ③ピストンの合口トップリングオイルリングのエキスパンダピストンマークオイルリングのサイドレール上セカンドリングおよびオイルリングのサイドレール下 4

（3）クランクシャフトブラインドスクリューの取付 ⑤ ② ① ④ 組み付け前にクランクシャフトを徹底的に洗浄しゴミ、汚れを取り除いて下さい。 ①∼④ 4か所のPT 1/16 スクリュー部分を確認して下さい。付属のPT1/16を洗浄し脱脂して下さい。 PT 1/16スクリューにねじロック材を塗布して締め付けて下さい。 ※締め付けが不十分だと油圧漏れ、スクリューの脱落等でエンジンを破損する恐れがあります。 ※各スクリューは端面より突出しない様にして下さい。 5

KIT CONTENTS The EJ26 Kit consists of Forged Crankshaft, Conrods & Piston Kit. Confirm the following parts are included with each piston (each EJ26 Piston) as listed below. 1 Top Ring 1 Piston 1 2nd Ring 1 Piston Pin 2 Oil Ring 1 Set Cir Clip CAUTION ■ This product is designed for competition used ONLY. Not to be used on public roads. ■ This product is to be fitted by an experienced professional in a fully equipped workshop.

2. DEBURRING CASTING ERRORS & RADIUS FINISH Chamfer and radius the edges and galleries to remove all casting flashes/errors. You can also use #400 grit sandpaper for certain areas like the bottom of the piston skirts and on sharp edges. Clearances R 0.3 3. PISTON RING ADJUSTMENTS & PREPARATIONS Please adjust, and measure the following when you use our piston kit. ① Insert the Piston Ring & position it in the middle of the cylinder bore by using the head of the Piston, or a ring squaring tool.

(2) PISTON RING CONFIRMATION Note the positioning of the Piston Rings when installing the Tomei Piston Kit. ① Piston Ring Upper & Lower Side Top Ring Install the ring with the ring mark facing up. Second Ring Ring Mark ② Oil Ring Side Rail Gap Piston Mark The Oil Ring Side Rail Stopper must be positioned against the raised stopper part of the Piston (as shown on the left). Lower Side Rail Stopper. Side Rail Upper Side Stopper. Oil Ring Stopper.

(3) CRANKSHAFT BLIND SCREW INSTALLATION ⑤ ② ① ④ The Crankshaft must be thoroughly cleaned prior to installation. All signs of unwanted debris and residue must be removed from the Crankshaft and the PT 1/16 blind screws (included in the kit). Then install the blind screws in the Crankshaft, as shown in the illustration above, at points numbered #1-4. Use thread lock paste on the screws to prevent it from coming loose.

5. ASSEMBLY VERIFICATION ① Check the clearance Piston's skirt and crankweight in relation to each other during rotation. ② Confirm that the Piston does not protrude more than required from the cylinder bore at Top Dead Center. Ｖ2 ③ Be sure to calculate the final compression ratio once done.
