5. ドライブピニオンを交換する。 ① コンパニオンフランジを固定し、ピニオンロックナットを外す。 ② キャリアケースからドライブピニオンを外す。外した際、落下させないように手で支えるなどの注意をしてください。落下に注意 ③ ピニオンベアリングを外し、キットのドライブピニオンに装着する。ピニオンハイトアジャストシムの向きに注意してください。 ④ ドライブピニオンに付属のコラプシブルスペーサーを装着し、キャリヤケースに組み、コンパニオンフランジを取り付ける。この時、ピニオンベアリングのプリロードを確認しながらピニオンナットを少しづつ締め付けてください。向きに注意フランジレンチプリロードゲージ【ピニオンベアリングのプリロード】 2.55～3.04N・m（0.26～3.04 【ピニオンナットのTorque Specs範囲】 147～323N・m（15.0～32.0kgm) ピニオンナットはトルク範囲内で締付けて下さい。 6.

7. 各部の調整を行う ① コンパニオンフランジを20回以上回転させた後、トータルプリロードを基準値内であるか測定する。【基準トルク値】 2.84～3.75N・m (0.29～0.38kgm) プリロードゲージ基準値を外れた場合は調整してください。 ② ダイヤルゲージをドライブギヤの歯に当て、バックラッシュが基準値内であるか測定する。【基準値】ダイヤルゲージ 0.10～0.

5. Change the drive pinion. ① Lock the companion flange, remove the pinion lock nut. ② Remove the drive pinion from the carrier case. Upon removal please make sure not to drop it. Handle with care. Be careful not to drop it. ③ Remove the pinion bearing and install it on the drive pinion supplied in this kit. Please pay attention to the direction of the pinion height adjustment washer. ④ Fit the collapsible spacer to the drive pinion gear, install into the casing, then fit the the companion flange.

7. Adjusting section. ① After turning the companion flange about 20 times you can then check if the preload is within the appropriate limits. 【Standard Torque Settings】 2.84～3.75N・m (0.29～0.38kgm) Preload Gauge Please adjust the settings while it is off. ② The Dial Gauge is used on the drive gears tooth to measure the backlash to check if it is within the acceptable allowed limits. Dail Gauge 【Reference Level】0.10～0.15mm Please adjust the settings while it is off.

Changing the pinion height washer thickness to change the pinion position will also change the backlash setting as well. When you adjust the side bearing & pinion height adjustment washers for setting the preload and backlash please also check the gearing teeth alignment again. Heel Contact Point Face Contact Point The Drive Pinion is brought closer to the ring Toe Contact Point Drive ring & Pinion Gear is more apart now. 8. Apply liquid gasket (silicon) to the casing when closing the housing up. 9.
