EJエンジンのシリンダーブロックは、クランクシャフトをはさみこみ、パワーを発生させる構造なので、

ブロックを締結するボルトには強い負荷がかかります。

発生するパワーによるシリンダーへのストレスは、クランクを支えるメインジャーナルの変形を誘発し、

フリクション増加や、メタルトラブルにつながります。

TOMEIメインボルトは、高耐力設計により、シリンダーブロックの変形を防ぎ、剛性を確保します。

Thank you for purchasing a TOMEI product.

The EJ engine cylinder block and crankshaft design is not really suited for high power use so the

main bolts are important to maintain strength in the block. The stress that the block endures is

susceptible to deformation of the crank main journals which can increase friction and ultimately

bearing failure. The TOMEI main bolts are designed to suit high power applications to prevent the

block from warping and to ensure rigidity.

CAUTION! ■ The Bolts and screw holes threads must be clean and free from grime. ■ If the torque specs are not followed as below there will be a risk of possible Cylinder Block distortion. Please be sure to tighten up the bolts to the specified torque specs as noted below. ■ Please check, clean and correct the blocks threads with a tap to the right thread size of the bolt to ensure correct torque loads are applied to the bolts when assembled. ① Apply the grease that came in the kit on the threads.
