RF Video/Audio Switchers
The Model 624 Video Sensor provides automatic 2x1
audio-follow-video switching controlled by sync pulses. The
624 detection circuit monitors the loss of horizontal sync
pulses on the primary video input. It will automatically
switch to the secondary video input upon loss of sync puls-
es. It will remain in this state until the primary video returns,
causing the 624 to switch back to the primary video input.
This state of the art configuration allows accurate, clean,
dependable switching in unattended locations.
SPECIFICATIONS
Video: 75 ; “F” connectors
Audio: 600 screw terminals
Gain Input to Output: 1:1
Isolation @ 5 MHz: >90 dB
Return Loss: >35 dB
Power Requirement: 12 VDC @ 70 mA
Physical: 2”H x 2.75”W x 5.25”D
Model 624 Video Sensor
The Model 625A RF/IF Sensor provides automatic 2x1
RF/IF switching controlled by the loss of video modulated
RF carrier. The 625A’s sense input circuit monitors sync
pulses on the video modulated RF carrier and automatically
switches to the secondary input upon the loss. It remains in
this state until the sync pulses on the video modulated RF
carrier return, causing the primary input to switch back on.
The 625A’s sensing input requires an external bandpass fil-
ter/pad for multiple channel feed conditions.
SPECIFICATIONS

Model 625A RF/IF Sensor
The Model 627A Stereo Audio/Video Switch module pro-
vides 2x1 (AB) balanced stereo audio follow video switch-
ing. The 2x1 switch will respond to a contact closure or a
transistor switch to ground or a compatible logic level. The
control input is buffered to eliminate high output current
drive requirements of the controlling device. The 627A can
be controlled by Monroe Electronics program timers, remote
controls or CATV Cue Tone receivers.
