9. Display
a) Symbols/indicators
• Review the chapter "6. Operating elements" on page 44 for a list
of symbols/indicators that the display may show while the device
is in use.
b) Illumination
• As per the factory default setting, the display illumination is turned
off.
• While the device is on, push the button
(9) to turn on/off the
display illumination.
10. Measuring conditions
Observe the following points. Failure to do so can lead to measurement
errors/problems:
• The maximum measuring distance is 70 m.
• If the target surface has poor reection properties, it is recommended
to use a laser targeting plate.
• Measurement errors are possible when measuring colourless liquids
(e.g. water), dust-free glass, styrofoam or similar semipermeable
substances. Measurement errors are also possible when measuring
highly reecting surfaces that may reect the laser.
• When measuring non-reecting or dark surfaces, the measuring
procedure can take longer.
