h) Adding and subtracting measurements
The device allows you to add and subtract measured values.
Adding and subtracting is possible only in individual measurement
mode. Push the button to delete measurements. Then repeat
the measurement.
The measured values are stored to the memory despite the
display not showing this during the measuring procedure. You
can retrieve stored values later.
1. Measure the rst value.
2. Push the button (15) for addition or the button (7) for
subtraction. The last measured value is moved to the upper line on
the display.
3. Measure the second value by pushing the button
. The second
value is shown in the second line on the display. The sum/difference
is visible in the lower line.
4. Follow the steps described above to add or subtract further
measurements.
i) Area measurement
Delete the measurements by pushing the button . Then repeat
the measurement.
1. Turn on the device.
2. Push the button
(16) until the display shows . The longer side
of the parallelogram ashes.
3. Push the button
to activate the target laser. Push the button
again to measure the length of the area. The measured value is
moved to the upper line and the width of the parallelogram ashes.
4. Push the button
to activate the target laser. Push the button
again to measure the width of the area. The measured value is
moved to the middle line.
