Indirect measurement with partial height calculation (ill. 4)
1. Turn on the device.
2. Push the button
(6) until the display shows the symbol .
3. The rst leg to be measured ashes in the symbol (
). Push the
button to take a measurement. The measured value is moved
to the upper line.
4. Measure the next legs (heed the symbol). When measuring the
horizontal leg, hold the device as level as possible.
5. The calculated partial height (
) is shown in the lower line.
n) Angle functions and inclination measurement
In angle functions and inclination measurement mode, the angle “θ” and
legs are used to calculate results.
» The inclination may not exceed ±65° (-65° ≤ θ ≤ 65°) along the
longitudinal axis.
» The device itself may not be tilted more than ±10° along the
lateral axis during measuring.
» The angle display will automatically set to "---" when one of these
values is exceeded.
Measuring procedure
1. Turn on the device.
2. Push the button
(4) until the display shows the desired
measuring procedure. The measuring procedures are explained
below.
3. The angular degrees (inclination) are shown continuously in the
upper line.
4. The rst leg to be measured ashes in the symbol (e.g.
). Push
the button to take a measurement. Depending on the measuring
procedure, you may need to measure additional legs. Proceed as
indicated by the symbol on the display.
