The stake out function allows you to determine two different lengths
(a, b) and then repeatedly measure (distance a) (see ill. 5).
1. Study ill. 5.
2. Turn on the device.
3. Push and hold the
button (4) for approx. 1 second. The device
switches to stake off mode.
4. Review the measurement reference setting (button
) and set as
required.
5. Use the buttons
and to rst determine length a and conrm
your input with the button
. Then determine length b and conrm
your input. Length a ashes again.
» Push and hold the buttons
and to increase/decrease the
values [in 0.001 intervals (1 mm)].
» If you push and hold the button
or for approx. 10 seconds,
the values are increased/decreased in 0.01 intervals (10 mm).
» The device saves these settings before turning off and they are
still available when you turn the device back on.
6. Push the button
, to start stake out mode.
» Push the button
to stop the measuring procedure.
7. Holding the target laser [target laser pointed at the starting object
(zero point)], move away from the starting object toward your rst
target object (ill. 5).
» The next target distance is shown on the display (04).
» Heed the symbol
(A) on the display. Next to the symbol,
distance indicators (01) are displayed to show you which
direction to move in to reach your next target distance.
» The distance from the target distance is shown with a positive
(distance exceeded) or negative (distance fallen short of) value
(05).
