Disposal
a)General
 Theproductmustnotbedisposedofinthehouseholdwaste.
 Pleasedisposeoftheproduct,whenitisnolongerofuse,accordingtothecurrent
statutoryrequirements.
 Removeanybatteriesinsertedanddisposeofthemseparatelyfromtheproduct.
b)Batteriesandrechargeablebatteries
Astheenduser, you are requiredbylaw(BatteryOrdinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeablebatteries;disposaloftheminthehouseholdwasteisprohibited.
 Batteries/rechargeablebatteriescontaininghazardoussubstancesarelabelledwith
thissymboltoindicatethatdisposalindomesticwasteisprohibited.Thedesigna-
tionsfortheheavymetalsinvolvedare:Cd=Cadmium,Hg=Mercury,Pb=Lead.
Usedbatteries,rechargeablebatteriesaswellascoincellscanbereturnedtocollectionpoints
inyourmunicipality,ourstoresorwhereverbatteries/rechargeablebatteries/coincellsaresold.
Youtherebyfullyourstatutoryobligationsandcontributetotheprotectionoftheenvironment.

InsertingbatteryintotheLEDlamp,changingthebatteries
• OpentheLEDlightbyunscrewingthetoppartwiththeLED(leftintheimage)fromthebot-
tompart(rotatingtotheleftincounter-clockwisedirection).
• Pulloutthewhiteplasticinsert.
• Insertthreebatteries(fortype,see“Technicaldata”)withthecorrectpolarity.Thepluspoleis
indicatedaccordinglyonthebatteriesandtheplasticinsert.
• Inserttheplasticinsertintothebottompart(withthehexagon)inthecorrectorientation(see
topofimage).
 Thesmallroundopeningintheplasticinsert,andthereforethepluspoleofthebat-
teries,pointstowardstheLED.
• ScrewthetoppartwiththeLEDontothebottompartagain(rotatingtotherightinclockwise
direction).
• Abatterychangeisnecessarywhenthelightisonlyweakordoesnotlightatall.
Informationforoperation
Insertingthemirror,LEDlampormagneticheadintothetelescopehandle
• Thereisahexagonalholeattheendofthetelescopehandleforthedifferentattachments
(2differentmirrors,LEDlightormagnetichead).
 Pulltheserratedlockingringtowardsthehandle(seearrowintheimagebelow)andinsert
thedesiredattachmentintothehexagonalhole).
• Releasethelockingring,whichwilllocktheattachmentinthetelescopehandle.
SwitchingtheLEDlighton/off
TheLEDcanbeswitchedonoroffbyrotatingthetoppart.Payattentiontothelabellingandthe
arrowmarkingatthetoppart(“OFF”=switchingoff,“ON”=switchingon).
Usingthemirror
• Themirrorcanbemovedintodifferentpositionsatthejoint.Themirrorcanberotated(360°)
aswellaspivoted.
• Ifthemirrorcanbemovedtooeasilyorifitpivotsonitsown,youcantightenthescrewin
thejointslightly(holdthestopnutattheothersidewithatnosepliersorasocketwrench).
However,donotuseanyforce.
 Aspringinsidethejointtogetherwiththestopnutallowsanoptimalsetupforthe
moveabilityofthemirror.
Cleaning
Cleantheproductonlywithasoft,clean,drycloth.
Whencleaning themirror,youcanmoistentheclothwitha fewdrops ofcommon window
cleaner.
Donotuseaggressive,chemicalorscouringcleaningagents,asthismayleadtodiscoloura-
tionorchangesinthematerialonthesurface.Donotpresstohardonthemirrorsurface;this
causesscratchmarksormaybreakthemirror(lossofwarranty).
