Operation
a) General procedure
• Cleantheworkpiecetobehandledifnecessary.Makesurethesurfaceoftheworkpieceisclean,at
andfreeofgrease.
• Selectthedesiredtoolandscrewitintothethread.Todoso,usethetweezers.Makesurethetoolis
securelyattachedandcannotcomeoff.Donotuseexcessiveforcewhenattachingthetool.
Replacingtoolswhilecomponentsarestillhotcandamagethetoolandcauseseriousburns.
Alwaysleavetheproducttocooldownbeforechangingtools.
• Connectthepowerplugtoacommonhouseholdpoweroutlet.
• Turnontheproductusingtheslideswitch.Selectthesetting(IorII)dependingonthetooltobeused.

• Puttheproductonthestand.Ittakesapprox.3–5minutesfortheproducttoheatupcompletely.
Thefollowingsubchaptersprovidemoredetailsonhowtousetheindividualtools.
• Holdtheproductlikeapenandgraspitbyitsgreygripareas.
• Inordertoturntheproductoff,settheslideswitchto0position.
• Puttheproductonthestandandletitcooldowncompletely.
• Disconnectthemainsplugfromthewallsocketwhennotusingtheproductforalongerperiodoftime.
b) Branding tips
• Thebrandingtipsaresuitableformaterialssuchaswood,corkandleather.
• Neverusethebrandingtipsonmaterialssuchasplasticorsyntheticleather.
• Ifnecessary,useapenciltosketchalllines.
• Guidethebrandingtipswithslight,steadypressureandsteadypaceovertheworkpiece.
c) Branding irons
• Thebrandingironsaresuitableformaterialssuchaswood,cork,leatherandsealingwax.
• Applythebrandingironverticallyandwithslightpressureontotheworkpiece.
• Thelongeryouapplythebrandingiron,thedarkertheimage.
d) Heat cutter
Theheatcutterissuitableforcuttingmaterialssuchaspolystyreneornylonropes.
e) Soldering tip
• Removeanygrease,dirt,oxideorsuldefromthesolderingjoints.
• Usethesolderingtiptoapplyathinlayerofsoldertothesolderingpointsandthensolderthemtogether.
• Applyuxingagentifnecessary.
• Makesurethesolderingtipsonlytouchthesolderingpoints.
• Cleanthesolderingtipwithasuitablesolderingspongeafteruse.
f) Mini ironing attachment
• Theminiironingattachmentissuitablefordecoratingfabricswithsuitableheatshrinklm.
• Slowlymovetheminiironingattachmentbackandforth,fromoneedgetoanother.Keepthepacesteady
whiledoingso.
• Makesurethewholesurfacegetsheatedequallyandsufciently.
g) Hotx attachments
• SelectoneattachmentthatcorrespondstothesizeoftheHotxrhinestones.Attachment16issuitablefor
theHotxrhinestonesincludedinthedelivery.
• PlacetheHotxrhinestonesonthefabric.
• Apply the attachment vertically on the Hotx rhinestone for approx. 10 seconds. The required time
dependsonthesizeoftheHotxrhinestones.
LettheHotxrhinestonescooldownsufcientlybeforetouchingthem.Riskofburning!
h) Tips for creating templates
• Useapenanddrawthepatternonasuitablestencillm.
• Cutoutthetemplatebymovingthelm.Donotmovetheproductwhiledoingso.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Besidesoccasionalcleaning,theproductismaintenance-free.
• Disconnectthemainsplugfromthewallsocketandlettheproductcooldowntoroomtemperaturebefore
cleaning.
• Donotuseanyabrasiveorchemicalcleaners.
• Tocleantheproduct,useasoft,anti-staticandlint-freecloth.
• Inordertocleanthetools,screwthemontotheproductandturnontheproduct.
• Cleanthehottoolwithadamp,reproofsponge.
• Donotusemetalbrushesorsandpaperforcleaningthetools.
Disposal
