5. a) For a tap with an 18.7 mm (1/2") thread, screw the thread adapter (13) and then the tap adapter (14)
to the tap.
b) For a tap with a 24.2 mm (3/4") thread, screw the tap adapter (14) directly onto the tap.
Connect the connecting piece (15) to the tap adapter (14). Ensure that the connection piece clicks into
place.
b) Using the hose drum
Always hold the garden hose carefully when rolling or unrolling it from the hose drum. Never
allow the garden hose to spring back onto the hose drum. Always guide the hose using your
hand.
Always turn the tap off before rolling the hose up. Pressure must not be applied to the garden
hose.
The wall-mounted hose drum can be swivelled left and right without removing it from the wall
mount. Ensure that no objects or people become stuck when the product is swivelled by 180°.
Always swivel the hose drum carefully.
1. Remove the nozzle from the nozzle holder (12). Carefully pull the garden hose from the hose drum until
the desired length is reached. The hose clicks into place at regular intervals.

2. Turn the nozzle to turn on and adjust the water ow.
3. Turn off the tap after use. Store the garden hose on the hose drum. To roll the hose back up, pull slightly
on the hose until it unlocks and starts to be pulled back onto the hose drum.
Allow any remaining water to drain from the hose. Once the water has drained, turn the nozzle (11) to
stop the water ow and place it into the nozzle holder (12).
Changing the hose
The garden hose (8) can be replaced.
Never dismantle the hose drum (3).
Replace the garden hose with a suitable hose. Do not overload the product! Pay attention to the
information in the "Technical data" section.
Never use the product without the hose stopper (6).
Secure the garden hose and the hose drum before changing the hose.
1. Turn off the water supply. Remove the hose drum from the wall mount and then remove the connecting
hose from the water tap.
2. Open the cover (5) on the hose drum and then unhook it.
3. Pull out the garden hose until you can see the hose connection in the hose drum. Let the hose click
into place. Hold the garden hose securely so that it cannot spring back onto the drum by accident. Get
another person to hold the hose drum in place while you pull out the garden hose.

4. Secure the hose drum by pulling out the clamp (A) on each side and inserting each end into one of the
holes (B) in the hose drum wheel. The hose drum is now secure.
5. Loosen each of the two screws on the hose holder (D) using a suitable Phillips screwdriver. Remove
the hose holder.
Remove the protective clip (C).

6. Remove the garden hose from the hose connector (E) in the garden hose drum. Pay attention to the
direction of the arrows on the connecting piece (F). Loosen the screw ring (G).
7. Remove the garden hose from the hose connection (E) in the garden hose drum. Remove the screw
ring (G) from the garden hose.
8. Loosen the screw ring (9) on the nozzle (11), pull out the end of the hose, and then remove the screw
ring (9).
9. Open the hose stopper (6) by loosening the two screws on the hose stopper (6) with a suitable Phillips
screwdriver. Remove the hose.
10. Loosen the locking mechanism and fully remove the garden hose from the hose drum.
11. Insert the new hose into one half of the hose stopper. Place the other half on top and tighten the two
screws.
12. Place the nozzle screw ring (9) onto the shorter end of the hose. Slide the garden hose into the
connecting piece (15) on the nozzle as far as it will go and turn it to secure it place.
13. Push the new garden hose through the hose guide in the hose opening.
14. Place the screw ring onto the garden hose. Slide the new hose into the hose connection on the garden
hose drum as far as it will go. Pull the screw ring over the thread of the connecting piece and turn it until
it is securely in place.
15. Place the connecting piece onto the hose connection in the hose drum. It must click into place.
16. Place the protective clip onto the connecting piece so that it will not move back out of position. Fix the
hose in place using the hose holder (D) and the two screws.
17. Hold the hose securely in one hand, then loosen the clamp from the hose drum wheel with your other
hand and set it to its original position.
18. Loosen the hose from its locking mechanism and roll it up carefully.
19. Insert the cover into the openings. You should feel it click into place. Close the cover.
Storage
Always store the product in a frost-proof environment. Pay particular attention in the winter
months.
Protect the product from direct sunlight.
Turn off the water supply. Press the ends of the metal pin together using a pair of pliers. Remove the metal
pin and the support tube. Remove the hose drum from the wall mount using the carrying handle (4). Insert
the support tube back into the hose drum and secure it in place using the metal pin. Bend the ends of the
metal pin apart.
Unroll the garden hose. Insert the nozzle into the nozzle holder (12). Remove the connecting hose from
the water tap and the hose drum. Pay attention to the direction of the arrow on the connecting piece (15)
and carefully remove the connecting hose.
Place the connecting piece (15) on the connecting hose onto the storage knob on the support tube (2).
Cleaning
Never use aggressive and abrasive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these
could damage the housing or even impair the functioning of the product.
If the hose or the hose drum get very dirty, clean them using a damp cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly before
rolling up the hose.
Do not immerse the product in or under water.
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus full your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
