3. The display will show the reading registered last during the current
measurement.
4. If needed, press the MEAS button to pause the continuous
measurement. The reading measured last remains visible.
5. Press the MEAS button to continue the continuous measurement.
6. Press the on/off button (E) to stop the continuous measurement. The
reading measured last remains visible.
15. Area measurement
This function is only intended for measuring rectangular
surfaces.
1. Press the function button (G). The top of the display shows a
rectangular icon as indicator for surface measurement.
2. Measure the rst side length of the area. The measurement is shown
in the upper line.
3. Measure the second side length of the area. The measurement is
shown in the upper line.
4. The device multiplies both readings automatically. The total area is
shown in the bottom line.
