Uso previsto
L' estrattore di fumi di saldatura estrae i fumi di saldatura prodotti durante la
saldatura e li filtra attraverso un filtro sostituibile a carbone attivo.
L' apparecchio è progettato in classe di protezione 1 (con conduttore di terra di
protezione) e può essere collegato solo a prese con tensione 230V~ 50Hz,.
Il funzionamento in condizioni ambientali avverse non è consentito com per
esempio:
■
Ambienti bagnati o umidi
■
Ambienti con polvere e gas, vapori o solventi infiammabili.
Non è consentito l' uso in condizioni come quelle sopra descritte.

I danni causati dalla mancata osservanza delle presenti istruzioni per
l'uso invalidano la garanzia! Non ci assumiamo alcuna responsabilità
per danni a cose o persone causati da un uso improprio o dall'
inosservanza delle avvertenze di sicurezza!
Questo apparecchio è omologato CE e quindi conforme alla direttiva EMC
89/336/CEE e alla direttiva sulla bassa tensione 73/23/CEE.
Per motivi di sicurezza e di omologazione (CE) non sono consentite modifiche e/o
alterazioni non autorizzate dell' apparecchio.
Il dispositivo non è un giocattolo e non va usato dai bambini.
Non toccare mai l' unità e la spina di alimentazione con le mani bagnate o umide.
Pericolo di scossa elettrica mortale.
Estrarre sempre la spina dalla impugnatura, mai tirare il cavo!.
Utilizzare l' estrattore fumi di saldatura solo in ambienti interni asciutti. L' uso in
ambienti umidi come i bagni è vietato..
Non lasciare il materiale d' imballaggio steso in giro con negligenza; questo
potrebbe diventare un giocattolo pericoloso per i bambini.
Negli impianti commerciali devono essere rispettate le norme antinfortunistiche delle
Associazioni di categoria degli impianti elettrici e dei materiali.
Nelle scuole e nelle strutture di formazione, nei laboratori di hobby, l’apparecchio
deve essere supervisionata da personale addestrato..
Il cavo di alimentazione è montato saldamente e non può essere sostituito. Se il
cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, spegnere il dispositivo e bloccarlo in modo
che non possa essere rimesso in funzione. Smaltire l' apparecchio in conformità alle
normative vigenti.
Assicurarsi che nessun oggetto venga aspirato o penetri all'interno dell'unità
attraverso la griglia di ventilazione.
La custodia e il cavo di collegamento non devono entrare in contatto con oggetti
caldi come saldatori, ecc.
Se si suppone che non sia più possibile un funzionamento sicuro, l' apparecchio
deve essere disinserito e protetto contro un funzionamento involontario. Si presume
che il funzionamento sicuro non sia più possibile se:
■
il dispositivo mostra danni visibili,
■
l' apparecchio non funziona più e
■
dopo uno stoccaggio prolungato in condizioni sfavorevoli o in caso di forti
sollecitazioni durante il trasporto
Configurazione e collegamento
Collocare l' estrattore di fumi di saldatura nelle immediate vicinanze dei lavori di
saldatura. Assicurarsi che il supporto sia in piano e stabile
L' estrattore fumi di saldatura può essere toccato sul supporto metallico superiore
per il trasporto.
Allineare l' alloggiamento del ventilatore direttamente sulla superficie di saldatura e
fissare questa posizione sulle due manopole laterali.
Collegare la spina di rete a una presa.
Messa in servizio
L' estrattore fumi di saldatura può essere attivato e disattivato tramite l' interruttore a
levetta superiore.
0 = spento
I = acceso
Se l' estrattore fumi di saldatura non è necessario, spegnerlo sempre.
Manutenzione, pulizia e sostituzione del filtro
Oltre alla pulizia occasionale e alla sostituzione del filtro, l' estrattore di fumi di
saldatura è esente da manutenzione.
Scollegare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente prima di pulire o
sostituire il filtro.
La custodia avvitata non deve essere aperta.

Cambio Filtro
I fumi di saldatura passano attraverso un filtro sostituibile a carbone attivo che
assorbe le particelle nei fumi di saldatura.
Sostituire regolarmente questo filtro per mantenere l' effetto filtro quando lo sporco è
visibile.
Per sostituire il filtro procedere come segue:
Aprire la griglia metallica sulla parte anteriore dell' estrattore di fumi di saldatura dal
basso verso l' alto.
Rimuovere il filtro a carbone usato dall' unità e sostituirlo con uno nuovo. Due filtri
sostitutivi sono inclusi.
Ripiegare la griglia di protezione verso il basso e fissarla nel supporto in plastica. L'
estrattore fumi di saldatura è ancora una volta completo funzionante.
Smaltimento
Smaltire l' apparecchio al termine della sua vita utile in conformità alle
disposizioni di legge vigenti.

Intended use
The soldering smoke extractor sucks in smoke which is generated during soldering
and filters this through a replaceable activated carbon filter.
The device is constructed in accordance with protection class 1 (with protective earth
conductor) and may only be connected to mains supply sockets with earthing contact
and a voltage of 230V~ 50Hz.
Operation in unfavourable ambient conditions is not permitted. Unfavourable ambient
conditions are as follows:
■
excessive moisture or humidity
■
dust and combustible gases, vapours or solvents
Any use other than that described above is not permitted.
Follow the safety instructions.

Safety information
The guarantee will lapse if damage is caused as a result of non-com-
pliance with the operating instructions. We do not accept liability for
damage to property or injury to persons caused by mishandling or
non-compliance with the safety instructions.
This equipment is CE-tested and thus meets the EMC directive 89/336/EEC and the
low-voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
For safety and licensing reasons (CE), unauthorized conversion and/or modification
of the device is not permitted.
The device is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
Never touch the device or the plug with wet or moist hands. There is a risk of electro-
cution.
Pull the plug out of the socket using the grip on the plug only.
Operation is only permitted in dry indoor areas. Use in damp rooms, e.g. bathrooms,
is prohibited.
Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly since this may become
a dangerous toy for children.
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the relevant profes-
sional insurance association for electrical systems and operating materials are to be
observed.
In schools and training centres as well as at hobby and DIY workshops, the use of
electric devices must be supervised by adequately trained personnel in a responsible
manner.
The mains cable was fitted at the factory and cannot be replaced. If the mains cable
is damaged, take the device out of service and make sure that it is not used. If the
device becomes unusable, dispose of it in accordance with the current statutory regu-
lations.
Make sure that objects do not become sucked into the extractor or penetrate the device
through the fan screen.
The housing and the connection cable must not come into contact with soldering irons
etc.
If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, then discon-
nect the appliance immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation. It can be
assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
■
the appliance is visibly damaged,
■
it does not function any longer or
■
it has been stored for longer periods under unfavourable conditions or after heavy
transport strain.
Connection and setting up the device
Set up the soldering smoke extractor as close to the soldering site as possible. Make
sure that the device stands on an even and stable surface.
For transportation, the soldering smoke extractor can be held at the top metal shackle.
Direct the fan housing straight at the surface being soldered and fix it in this position
using the two side clamps.
Connect the mains plug to a socket which has an earthing contact.
Initial operation
The soldering smoke extractor is switched on and off at the upper toggle switch.
0 = Off
I = On
If the soldering smoke extractor is not needed, switch it off again immediately.
Servicing and cleaning the device and changing the filter
The soldering smoke extractor is maintenance-free apart from cleaning occasionally
and changing the filter.
Before cleaning the device or changing the filter, pull the mains plug from
the socket.
The screwed-down housing must not be opened.
Use a clean, lint-free, antistatic and slightly damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use
any abrasive or chemical agents or detergents containing solvents.
Changing the filter
The soldering smoke passes through a replaceable activated carbon filter, which
absorbs the particles in the soldering smoke.
Change this filter regularly when it become visibly dirty in order to ensure that the fil-
ter works effectively.
To change the filter, proceed as follows:
Fold up the metal screen on the front of the soldering smoke extractor.
Remove the used carbon filter from the device and replace it with a new one. Two
replacement filters are supplied.
Fold down the protective screen again and make sure it snaps into the plastic retainer.
The soldering smoke detector is now fully functioning again and can be put into use.
Disposal
When the device has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance with
the current statutory regulations.
