1. Einführung Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde, wir bedanken uns für den Kauf dieses Produkts. Dieses Produkt entspricht den gesetzlichen, nationalen und europäischen Anforderungen. Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen, müssen Sie als Anwender diese Bedienungsanleitung beachten! Diese Bedienungsanleitung gehört zu diesem Produkt. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise zur Inbetriebnahme und Handhabung.
2. Symbol-Erklärung Das Symbol mit dem Blitz im Dreieck wird verwendet, wenn Gefahr für Ihre Gesundheit besteht, z.B. durch einen elektrischen Schlag. Das Symbol mit dem Ausrufezeichen im Dreieck weist auf wichtige Hinweise in dieser Bedienungsanleitung hin, die unbedingt zu beachten sind. Das Pfeil-Symbol ist zu finden, wenn Ihnen besondere Tipps und Hinweise zur Bedienung gegeben werden sollen.
3. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Der Akku-Tacker eignet sich zum Heften von Stoffen, Holz, Folien, Isoliermaterial, Maschendraht, Karton und Leder/ Kunstleder sowie ähnlichen Materialien auf einem weichen Untergrund (z.B. Holz). Der Akku-Tacker ist nicht geeignet zum Befestigen von Wand- oder Deckenverkleidungen, Stromkabeln oder anderen Leitungen. Der Akku-Tacker wird durch einen fest eingebauten, nicht wechselbaren Li-Ion-Akku betrieben.
5. Sicherheitshinweise Lesen Sie sich die Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch und beachten Sie insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise. Falls Sie die Sicherheitshinweise und die Angaben zur sachgemäßen Handhabung in dieser Bedienungsanleitung nicht befolgen, übernehmen wir für dadurch resultierende Personen-/Sachschäden keine Haftung. Außerdem erlischt in solchen Fällen die Gewährleistung/Garantie.
Schalten Sie in einem solchen Fall die zugehörige Netzsteckdose allpolig ab (z.B. Sicherungsautomat abschalten, anschließend FI-Schutzschalter abschalten) und trennen Sie danach das USB-Ladegerät von der Netzsteckdose. Das Produkt darf danach nicht mehr betrieben werden, bringen Sie es in eine Fachwerkstatt. • Stellen Sie keine offenen Brandquellen, wie brennende Kerzen, auf dem Gerät oder in dessen Nähe ab. • Stellen bzw.
• Schließen Sie die Kontakte des USB-Ladegeräts niemals kurz. • Das USB-Ladegerät darf nur in trockenen, geschlossenen Innenräumen betrieben werden. Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonneneinstrahlung, starke Hitze oder Kälte. Halten Sie das USB-Ladegerät fern von Staub und Schmutz. • Das USB-Ladegerät darf nicht feucht oder nass werden, andernfalls besteht Lebensgefahr durch einen elektrischen Schlag! Stellen Sie auch keine Gefäße mit Flüssigkeiten, z.B.
d) Betrieb des Akku-Tackers • Verwenden Sie den Akku-Tacker nicht, wenn er beschädigt ist. • Tragen Sie bei der Verwendung des Akku-Tackers immer eine Schutzbrille. • Sorgen Sie für einen sicheren Stand beim Arbeiten, verwenden Sie beispielsweise eine geeignete stabile Leiter. • Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsplatz sauber. Achten Sie auf eine gute Beleuchtung am Arbeitsplatz. Unordnung am Arbeitsplatz oder schlechte Beleuchtung können zu Unfällen führen.

7. Akku-Tacker aufladen Beachten Sie das Kapitel „Sicherheitshinweise“. Vor der ersten Verwendung muss der Akku-Tacker aufgeladen werden. Laden Sie den Akku-Tacker außerdem alle 3 Monate auf, wenn Sie ihn nicht benötigen (z.B. bei Lagerung). Andernfalls kann es zu einer Tiefentladung kommen, was den Akku dauerhaft beschädigt. Verlust von Gewährleistung/Garantie! Es ist nicht erforderlich, dass der Akku vollständig leer ist, bevor er aufgeladen werden kann.
8. Bedienung a) Klammerstreifen in den Akku-Tacker einlegen Achtung! Schalten Sie zuerst den Akku-Tacker über den Ein-/Ausschalter (2) aus (Schalterstellung „O“ = ausgeschaltet). • Drücken Sie die Magazin-Entriegelung (siehe Bild in Kapitel 6, Position 1) auf beiden Seiten zusammen (A). Ziehen Sie dann das Magazin bis zum Anschlag heraus (B). • Setzen Sie den Klammerstreifen in die Nachfüllöffnung (6) ein (C, D).
b) Verwenden des Akku-Tackers Wichtig! Falls noch nicht geschehen, lesen und beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise! • Halten Sie den Akku-Tacker am Handgriff (5) fest und schalten Sie den Akku-Tacker über den Ein-/Ausschalter (2) ein (Schalterstellung „I“ = eingeschaltet). Achtung! Fassen Sie dabei niemals die Tackernase (7) an, drücken Sie den Auslöser nicht! • Platzieren Sie die Tackernase (7) an der Stelle, an der sich die Klammer befinden soll.
9. Behebung von Störungen Mit dem Akku-Tacker haben Sie ein Produkt erworben, welches nach dem Stand der Technik gebaut wurde und betriebssicher ist. Dennoch kann es zu Problemen und Störungen kommen. Deshalb möchten wir Ihnen hier beschreiben, wie Sie mögliche Störungen beheben können. Beachten Sie unbedingt sämtliche Sicherheitshinweise und alle anderen Informationen dieser Bedienungsanleitung! Problem Lösungshilfe Keine Funktion. • Laden Sie den Akku-Tacker auf.
10. Wartung und Reinigung a) Allgemein • Eine sorgfältige Reinigung erhält die Funktionsfähigkeit des Produkts, damit Sie lange Freude damit haben. Ein guter Handwerker achtet auf sein Werkzeug! • Es sind keine für Sie zu wartenden Teile in dem Produkt enthalten, öffnen/zerlegen Sie es deshalb niemals (bis auf die in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen Arbeiten). Eine Wartung oder Reparatur und ein damit verbundenes Öffnen des Produkts darf nur von einem Fachmann bzw.

1. Introduction Dear Customer, thank you for purchasing this product. This product complies with the statutory national and European specifications. To maintain this status and to ensure safe operation, you as the user must observe these operating instructions! These operating instructions are part of this product. They contain important notes on commissioning and handling. Also consider this if you pass on the product to any third party.
2. Explanation of symbols The symbol with the lightning in the triangle is used if there is a risk to your health, e.g. due to an electric shock. This symbol is used to highlight important information in these operating instructions. Always read this information carefully. This symbol indicates special information and advice on how to use the product. The product must only be used in dry, indoor locations. It must not get damp or wet. Wear safety goggles when using the product.
3. Intended use This rechargeable battery-operated stapler is designed to staple materials such as textiles, wood, foil, insulating materials, mesh wire, cardboard and leather/synthetic leather to soft surfaces (e.g. wood). It is not suitable for securing wall and ceiling panels, electrical cables or other wires. The stapler is powered by a built-in, non-replaceable rechargeable Li-ion battery. The battery can be charged using the USB charger and charging cable provided.
5. Safety instructions Read the operating instructions and safety information carefully. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• Do not pla ce the product next to open flames (such as candles). • Do not place the product onto valuable furniture without protective padding. • Never use the product in areas that contain flammable liquids, gases, solids or gas-air mixtures (e.g. petrol fumes). This can create sparks and cause an explosion! • Only use the product in temperate climates. It is not suitable for use in tropical climates.
• Never short circuit the contacts of the USB charger. • The USB charger should only be used in dry indoor areas. Avoid direct sunlight, intense heat and cold temperatures. Keep the USB charger away from dust and dirt. • The USB charger must not become damp or wet, as this may result in a fatal electric shock! Do not place any objects containing liquid (e.g. buckets, vases or plants) in the immediate vicinity of the USB charger.
d) Precautions • Do not use the stapler if there are any signs of damage. • Always wear safety goggles when using the stapler. • Always ensure that you have a secure footing (e.g. by using a ladder). • To reduce the risk of accidents, keep your workstation clean and ensure that there is sufficient lighting. Keep children away from your workstation and ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. • Only use the product when your ability to respond is unaffected.

7. Charging the stapler Always observe the instructions in the “Safety instructions” section. Charge the stapler before using it for the first time. Charge the stapler at least once every three months, otherwise the battery may be damaged due to excessive discharge. Any such damage will void the warranty. You can charge the battery at any time. You do not need to wait until the battery is empty before recharging it.
8. Operation a) Inserting staples into the stapler Caution! Start by switching off the stapler using the on/off switch (2) (“O” = off). • Press the sides of the slider (1) together (see A). Pull out the slider as far as it will go (see B). • Place the staples into the staple compartment (6) (see C, D). Ensure that the stapler is pointing upwards to prevent the staples from falling out. Only use type 53 or 530 staples (see right-hand image for staple dimensions).
b) Using the stapler Important! Ensure that you have read the safety information in these instructions before using the stapler. • Hold the stapler using the handle (5), and then turn it on using the on/off switch (2) (“I” = on). Caution! Never touch the staple ejector (7) when you press the trigger! • Place the stable ejector (7) onto the target location. • Press the stable ejector (7) firmly onto the surface and press the trigger (3) once. Release the trigger and lift the staple ejector off the surface.
9. Troubleshooting The following section describes how to diagnose and troubleshoot issues that you may encounter when using the stapler. Always observe the safety information and all other instructions in this manual. Problem Solution The stapler does not work. • Charge the stapler. • A staple will only be ejected when the staple ejector is pressed onto the surface. A staple is jammed inside the stapler. • The staples are damaged or incompatible.
10. Maintenance and cleaning a) General information • Clean the product carefully to ensure that it functions properly and to prolong its lifespan. • This product does not contain any components that require maintenance, therefore never attempt to open or disassemble it (apart from the steps described in these instructions). Repair and maintenance work (including opening the product) must be done by a technician or specialist repair centre.
