Charge the stapler at least once every three months, otherwise the battery may be damaged due to exces-
sive discharge. Any such damage will void the warranty.
You can charge the battery at any time. You do not need to wait until the battery is empty before recharg-
ing it.
Perform the following steps to charge the stapler:
Switch the stapler off using the on/off switch (2) (“O” = off).
Insert the USB-A connector on the USB charging cable into the socket on the USB charger. Ensure that you insert
the connector in the correct orientation.
Insert the micro-USB plug on the other end of the cable into the charging socket (4) on the bottom of the stapler.
Ensure that you insert the connector in the correct orientation.
Plug the charger into a mains socket. The charging indicator (8) on the stapler will turn on and the battery will start
to charge. A full charge cycle takes 3 - 5 hours.
Red LED = Charging
Green LED = Fully charged (charging is complete)
When charging is complete (green LED), disconnect the charging cable from the stapler, and then unplug the
charger from the mains socket.
The stapler can also be charged via a USB port that delivers a 5 V/DC voltage and a current of at least
500 mA (these USB ports can be found on some socket strips).
You can also use other USB power adapters that deliver a 5 V/DC voltage and a current of at least 500 mA
(e.g. smartphone or tablet chargers).
