7. Charging the stapler

Always observe the instructions in the “Safety instructions” section.

 Chargethestaplerbeforeusingitforthersttime.

Charge the stapler at least once every three months, otherwise the battery may be damaged due to exces-

sive discharge. Any such damage will void the warranty.

You can charge the battery at any time. You do not need to wait until the battery is empty before recharg-

ing it.

Perform the following steps to charge the stapler:

• Switch the stapler off using the on/off switch (2) (“O” = off).

• Insert the USB-A connector on the USB charging cable into the socket on the USB charger. Ensure that you insert

the connector in the correct orientation.

• Insert the micro-USB plug on the other end of the cable into the charging socket (4) on the bottom of the stapler.

Ensure that you insert the connector in the correct orientation.

• Plug the charger into a mains socket. The charging indicator (8) on the stapler will turn on and the battery will start

to charge. A full charge cycle takes 3 - 5 hours.

Red LED = Charging

Green LED = Fully charged (charging is complete)

• When charging is complete (green LED), disconnect the charging cable from the stapler, and then unplug the

charger from the mains socket.

The stapler can also be charged via a USB port that delivers a 5 V/DC voltage and a current of at least

500 mA (these USB ports can be found on some socket strips).

You can also use other USB power adapters that deliver a 5 V/DC voltage and a current of at least 500 mA

(e.g. smartphone or tablet chargers).
