• Do not disassemble the product (except for the procedures described in these
operating instructions for insertion/replacing the batteries).
Maintenance, adjustments and repair work may only be carried out by a specialist/
specialised workshop. Improperly performed maintenance, setting or repair work
may cause dangerous laser irradiation.
• Caution - if proceeding in a different way or using any other controls than those
specied in this manual, you may expose yourself to hazardous radiation.
c) Operation
• The product will be damaged if it becomes damp or wet. Therefore, do not operate
the product in rain, moist operating conditions or in/under water.
• Only operate the product in moderate climate, never in tropical climate. For more
information on acceptable environmental conditions, see the chapter „Technical
Data“.
• Never operate the device immediately after it was taken from a cold room to a warm
room. The resulting condensation may lead to malfunctions or damage!
Let the product reach room temperature before taking it into operation again.
• Protect the product from dust and dirt.
Use the enclosed storage bag when not using the laser distance meter.
• If not used for a longer period (e.g. in case of storage), remove the inserted batteries/
rechargeable batteries. Then keep the product in a clean, dry site, use the enclosed
storage bag.
