Außerdem erlischt in solchen Fällen die Gewährleistung/Garantie. a) Allgemein • Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie es von Kindern und Haustieren fern.
• Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Produkt um. Durch Stöße, Schläge oder dem Fall aus bereits geringer Höhe wird es beschädigt. • Wenden Sie sich an eine Fachkraft, wenn Sie Zweifel über die Arbeitsweise, die Sicherheit oder den Anschluss des Produktes haben. • Lassen Sie Wartungs-, Anpassungs- und Reparaturarbeiten ausschließlich von einem Fachmann bzw. einer Fachwerkstatt durchführen.
• Sollten Ihre Augen durch Laserstrahlung irritiert worden sein, führen Sie auf keinen Fall mehr sicherheitsrelevante Tätigkeiten, wie z.B. Arbeiten mit Maschinen, in großer Höhe oder in der Nähe von Hochspannung aus. Führen Sie bis zum Abklingen der Irritation auch keine Fahrzeuge mehr. • Richten Sie den Laserstrahl niemals auf Spiegel oder andere reflektierende Flächen. Der unkontrolliert abgelenkte Strahl könnte Personen oder Tiere treffen. • Öffnen Sie das Gerät niemals.
c) Batterien • Achten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterien auf die richtige Polung. • Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden, um Beschädigungen durch Auslaufen zu vermeiden. Auslaufende oder beschädigte Batterien können bei Hautkontakt Säureverätzungen hervorrufen. Beim Umgang mit beschädigten Batterien sollten Sie daher Schutzhandschuhe tragen. • Bewahren Sie Batterien außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

Batterien einlegen • Entnehmen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel. • Legen Sie 2 AAA-Batterien polungsrichtig ein. Beachten Sie dabei die Polaritätsangaben innerhalb des Batteriefachs.
11. Gerät ein-/ausschalten • Halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter ca. 1 Sekunde gedrückt, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Der Ziellaser ist sofort aktiviert. • Drücken Sie kurz die Taste C, um den Ziellaser zu deaktivieren. • Halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter ca. 1 Sekunde gedrückt, um das Gerät wieder auszuschalten. Das Produkt wird nach 3 Minuten Inaktivität automatisch ausgeschaltet. 12. Einstellungen a) Tastentöne/Piepsignal Drücken Sie kurz die Stummschalttaste, um die Tastentöne bzw.
Per Werkseinstellung wird der Messwert ausgehend von der Rückseite des Gerätes gemessen. c) Einheit Drücken Sie die Taste Unit, um die Einheit zu ändern. Folgende Einheiten stehen zur Auswahl: • m = Meter • ft = Fuß • in = Zoll • ---‘--‘‘ = Fuß/Zoll 13. Messungen durchführen Messungen können nur durchgeführt werden, wenn der Ziellaser aktiviert ist. • Drücken Sie die Taste MEAS, um den Ziellaser zu aktivieren. • Wenn der Ziellaser aktiviert ist, drücken Sie die Taste MEAS, um eine Messung durchzuführen.
. Kontinuierliche Messung • Drücken Sie die Taste MAX/MIN, um in den Modus für die kontinuierliche Messung zu wechseln. • Der Ziellaser wird aktiviert. Die Entfernung wird nun kontinuierlich gemessen. • Auf dem Display werden der maximale, der minimale und der zuletzt registrierte Messwert des Messvorgangs angezeigt. • Um die kontinuierliche Messung zu beenden, drücken Sie die Taste MEAS oder C. Nach 5 Minuten Inaktivität wird diese Funktion automatisch abgebrochen. 16.

a) Mit zwei Referenzpunkten • Drücken Sie die Funktionstaste, bis der Indikator Display erscheint. im • Messen Sie nun die beiden notwendigen Strecken. Beziehen Sie sich bei der Reihenfolge auf die folgende Abbildung. • Die Höhe wird automatisch berechnet und erscheint in der unteren Zeile. Gespeicherte Messwerte abrufen • Die letzten 20 Messergebnisse werden automatisch gespeichert. • Drücken Sie wiederholt die Speichertaste, um die gespeicherten Messergebnisse anzuzeigen. • Drücken Sie die Taste C, um diesen Modus zu verlassen. 21. Handschlaufe Die Öse für die Handschlaufe befindet sich an der linken Gehäuseseite.

Gürtelclip • Schieben Sie den Gürtelclip in das Gehäuse, bis er einrastet. • Um den Gürtelclip zu entnehmen, drücken Sie auf die Fläche PUSH und ziehen Sie gleichzeitig den Gürtelclip aus dem Gehäuse heraus. 23. Tipps und Hinweise • Aufgrund von Lichtbrechung oder Sonneneinstrahlung kann es beim Außeneinsatz zu Messfehlern kommen. Führen Sie Messungen bei geeigneten Lichtverhältnissen durch.
• Stellen Sie beim Außeneinsatz sicher, dass das Produkt nicht feucht oder nass wird. • Folgende Oberflächen können aufgrund ihrer physikalischen Eigenschaften das Messergebnis verfälschen: -- Transparente Oberflächen (z. B. Glas, Wasser) -- Reflektierende Oberflächen (z. B. Glas, glänzendes Metall) -- Poröse Oberflächen (z. B. Isolierstoffe) -- Strukturierte Oberflächen (z. B. Rauputz, Naturstein) 24. Code 500 Ursache Lösung Hardware-Fehler Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und wieder ein. Falls nach mehreren Versuchen die Fehlermeldung weiterhin angezeigt wird, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler. Falls auf der linken Seite des Displays ein Schraubenschlüssel erscheint, liegt ein Hardware-Fehler vor. Schalten Sie in diesem Fall das Gerät wiederholt ein und aus. Falls der Schraubenschlüssel weiterhin erscheint, liegt ein Defekt vor. 25.
26. Entsorgung a) Produkt Elektronische Geräte sind Wertstoffe und gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Entnehmen Sie evtl. eingelegte Batterien/Akkus und entsorgen Sie diese getrennt vom Produkt. b) Batterien/Akkus Sie als Endverbraucher sind gesetzlich (Batterieverordnung) zur Rückgabe aller gebrauchten Batterien/Akkus verpflichtet; eine Entsorgung über den Hausmüll ist untersagt.

Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee. a) General information • The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets. • Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly.
• Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may damage the product. • Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the appliance. • Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be done by a technician or a specialist repair centre. • If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
• If your eyes have been irritated by laser radiation, do not continue to carry out tasks with safety implications, such as working with machines, working from great heights or close to high voltage. Do not drive any vehicles until the irritation has completely subsided. • Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other reflective surfaces. The uncontrolled, reflected beam may strike people or animals. • Never open the device.
c) Batteries • Check that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity. • The batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries may cause acid burns when they come into contact with skin. Always use protective gloves when handling damaged batteries. • Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as they constitute a choking hazard for children and pets.

Inserting the batteries • Remove the battery compartment cover. • Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity. Follow the polarity signs inside the battery compartment. • Close the battery compartment.
11. Switch on/off the device • Press and hold the on/off button approx. 1 second to turn on the product. The target laser is active immediately. • Press the C button to deactivate the target laser. • Press and hold the on/off button for approx. 1 second to turn the device off. The product switches off automatically after 3 minutes of inactivity. 12. Settings a) Button tone/beep signal Briefly press the mute button to enable/disable the key tones or beep signal.
By default, the measured value is measured from the back of the device. c) Unit Briefly press the Unit button to change the unit. The following units are available: • m = meters • ft = foot • in = inch • ---’--” = feet/inches 13. Making measurements Measurements can only be performed when the laser is turned on. • Press the MEAS button to activate the laser. • If the target laser is enabled, press the MEAS button to make a measurement. • Press the C button to delete a value during the measurement process.
15. Continuous measurement • Press the MAX/MIN button to activate continuous measurement mode. • The laser is activated. The distance is now measured continuously. • The display shows the maximum, minimum and the last registered measured value of the measurement process. • To exit continuous measurement mode, press the MEAS or C button. After 5 minutes of inactivity, this feature is automatically deactivated. 16. Adding/subtracting • Measure the first segment.

Recalling stored measured values • The last 20 measurements will be stored automatically. • Repeatedly press the memory button to display the stored measurement results. • Press the C button to exit this mode. 21. Hand strap The eyelet for the hand strap is located on the left side of the housing. Thread the small loop through the eyelet.
22. Belt clip • Slide the belt clip into the housing until it snaps into place. • To remove the belt clip, press the surface marked PUSH while puling the belt clip out of the housing. 23. Tips and useful information • Measuring errors may occur when operating the product outdoors due to light refraction or sunlight. Perform measurements in suitable light conditions.
• During outdoor use, make sure that the product does not get damp or wet. • Due to their physical properties, the following surfaces may falsify the measurements: -- Transparent surfaces (e.g. glass, water) -- Reflective surfaces (e.g. glass, shiny metal) -- Porous surfaces (e.g. insulating materials) -- Structured surfaces (e.g. roughcast, natural stone) 24. Troubleshooting Code Cause Solution 204 Calculation error Repeat the process. 208 Overcurrent Contact your retailer.
If a wrench appears on the left side of the display, there is a hardware error. In this case, turn the device on and off repeatedly. If the wrench still appears, the device is defective. 25. Care and Cleaning Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction. Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. • The product is maintenance-free. Only clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth or a brush.
26. Disposal a) Product Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. Always dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations. Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product. b) Batteries You are required by law (Battery Directive) to return all used batteries. Batteries must not be placed in household waste.
