6. Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information
on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.
a) General Information
• Do not operate equipment while under the inuence of drugs or alcohol.
• The workplace must always be kept clean and tidy. Mess at the workplace
increases probability of dangerous incidents.
• Operators must always wear impact resistant protective goggles with side
protectors, protective masks, gloves and hearing protection when operating the
tool, repairing, maintaining the tool or changing accessories on the tool.
• Operators and maintenance personnel shall be physically able to handle the bulk,
weight and power of the tool.
• Hold the tool correctly; be ready to counteract normal or sudden movements and
have both hands available.
• Keep proper footing at all times in order to ensure correct balance when working.
