Maintenance

• Check the technical condition of the vice before using it. Pay special attention to any cracks

or breaks in the metal parts and the parallel alignment of the jaws.

• If the jaws are smooth and worn, the vice will clamp workpieces poorly. Replace the jaws with

new ones or roughen the grooves in the surface so that they grip more effectively.

• Clean the gears on the adjusting spindle from time to time to remove accumulations of chips

and dirt (approx. once a year). Lubricate the adjusting spindle and the guide tracks regularly

with a high-quality machine oil.

• The guides on the moving jaw are movable and can be set using screws (not included

with item no. 1780819). This allows you to adjust the play in the guide according to your

requirements. Check the play in the guide tracks regularly and adjust, if necessary. Keep the

guide tracks clean.

• To clean the turntable, unscrew the locking handle fully and lift the vice from the turntable.

Replace and secure it after cleaning.

Disposal

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable

regulatory guidelines.
