Keep the charger well ventilated during operation to allow heat to dissipate. Keep the ventilation
openings unobstructed and clean. Keeping the charger ventilated during operation reduces the risk of
overheating.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
is visibly damaged,
is no longer working properly,
has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

7 Charging batteries
Charge up to two batteries at the same time.
Important:
Only charge compatible batteries.
1. Place the charger on a heat-resistant surface.
2. Completely unwind the mains cable.
3. Connect the mains plug to a suitable mains socket.
à The GREEN control light lights up.
4. Align the battery contacts with the contacts of the charging slot and insert the battery.
à The RED control light lights up to indicate charging.
à The GREEN control light lights up when the battery is charged.
5. After the battery is charged, remove it from the charging slot. Before you use the battery, let it cool
down to room temperature.
6. After use, disconnect the mains cable from the mains socket.
8 Powering USB devices
Power and charge compatible devices via the USB power supply port(s).
1. Make sure the device meets the following specifications:
- Voltage: 5 V/DC
- Current consumption: max. 1 A
2. Connect the device to one of the USB ports with a suitable USB cable.
à Power is supplied to the connected device.
3. After use, disconnect the USB cable.
9 Cleaning
Important:
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions. They damage
the housing and can cause the product to malfunction.
Do not immerse the product in water.
1. Disconnect the product from the power supply.
2. Let the product cool down to ambient temperature.
3. Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
10 Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
