5. Important safety information
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
• Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair the product yourself. In
the case of faults, only have repairs carried out by qualied specialists.
• Caution! Do not suck up any ammable materials, hot objects or
glowing ash.
• Warning! During cleaning or operation never immerse the electrical
parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the motor
unit under running water.
• Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not in use
and before cleaning/maintenance.
• Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the
supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualied person in order to avoid hazards.
• Caution! Keep people and animals away from the suction openings!
Do not use the appliance on people and animals! Risk of injury!
