Troubleshooting
If the picture quality is poor or there is some other problem, check the adjustments, operations, etc., before requesting
service.
Symptom Checks Remedy
Picture appears but no sound is y Is the volume set at the minimum? y Increase the volume.
Produced. y Is the mute mode set?
y Are the speakers properly connected?
y Press the remote control’s MUTE button.
y Connect the speakers properly.
y Is AUDIO INPUT set correctly? y Set AUDIO INPUT on the SOUND menu
correctly.
Poor picture with VIDEO signal
input.
y Improper control setting.
Local interference.
Cable interconnections.
Input impedance is not correct level.
y Adjust picture control as needed.
Try another location for the tv.
Be sure all connections are secure.
