It is possible that you copy more SIM card entries than that there are free addresses in the Phone
Book memory. In that case, the last Phonemaster entries will be erased.
If you make a copy from the Phonemaster Phone Book to a SIM card, the phone will copy all the
entries starting from address ‘000’ until all the open addresses on the SIM card are used.
Empty addresses will be skipped.
Note: If you are searching through the Phone Book of the Phonemaster 180, you will not notice which entry is
assigned to which address. You will see all the entries in alphabetical order.
5.6 Copying the Phone Book from the SIM card to the Phonemaster 180
Remove the Card holder at the left side of the Phonemaster 180.
Put the SIM card of your mobile in the card holder with the metallic contacts upwards.
Put the Card holder back in the phone.
Metallic contacts on Top.
Press the SIM button briefly.
Enter the PIN code of the SIM card.
Press OK to confirm.
Select ‘COPY’ by means of the Up or Down button .
Press OK to confirm.
Select ‘SIM TO PHONE’ by means of the Up or Down button .
Press OK to confirm.
The display shows ‘WAIT’ until all the numbers of the SIM card are copied to the Phone Book of
the Phonemaster 180.
Press and hold the Erase button Ø for 5 seconds to leave the menu.
Note: If a number was already stored and you make a copy of the same record, the number will not be added.
The name will be replaced by the new name if there is a difference.
Note: Small characters and special characters will be replaced by its capital letter.
Ex. é will be E, g will be G.
