ClearNVRAM)

This
restoresthereceiversparameterstothefactorydefaultsettingsanderasesthealmanacandephemerisfiles.This
actiondoesnotdeletedatafilesfromthereceivermemory.
Erase allfilesbypressingthe Powerbuttonfor15to20secondsorbyusing
FileExplorer
DeleteAllFiles
inTRU.This
willdeleteallfilesstoredinthereceiver’snonͲremovablememorycard.
Iftheproblempersists,seethefollowingsectionsforothersolutions.
Powering Problems
Thefollowingaresomeofthe mostcommonlyencounteredpowerproblems.
Thereceiverdoesnotpowerup
Thebatterymaybedischarged.
Chargethebatteryovernight.See“ChargingtheBatteries”onpage 32.
Ifyouareusinganexternalpowersource,thecablemaybedisconnectedordamaged.
Makesurethecableissecurelyconnectedandundamaged.
Thereceivermayhaveadefectivechargerordefectivebattery.
If,afterchangingthebatteryorconnectinganexternalpowersource,thereceiverstilldoesnotpowerup,
