Detecting hidden objects
DANGER
In order to avoid personal injury or property damage, please note the
following:
- Beams/girders are built into brickwork at regular distances. Determine
the distance of the beams/girders prior to working on brickwork.
- Irregularities in the distances indicate e.g. electric cables or water lines.
- Measurement errors can occur based on the surface condition.
- If you detect something, always check whether it is an electric cable.
- If the lightning symbol appears in the display, it is a conductive electric
cable.
- Static charges can extend the coverage area of an electric cable by up
to 30 cm.
- Do not carry out any work on brickwork in this area.
