- Work is only permitted in the area of electric cables, once the power
supply is disconnected at the consumer unit. If in doubt seek the advice
of an electrician.
- The detected object can be wider or narrower than shown in the
display, depending on the depth.
- Always mark the start and end of the object. The middle between both
marks is then the middle of object.
The following objects (materials) can be detected with the device:
z Wood/beams (STUD), maximum detection depth 19mm
z Metal (METAL), maximum detection depth 30mm
z With the (DEEP) setting, particularly deeply positioned beams/wood and
metal parts can be detected (max. detection depth 38 mm)
z Electric cables (AC), maximum detection depth 50mm
