You can only be certain of having detected an object if the device is full of bars
and a permanent beeping tone sounds.
If you know that the cables run along a specific position, but cannot find them
using the device in AC mode, use the METAL mode. Electric cables can be
shielded by metal coverings. Beams and conductive electric cables that run close
to one another can prevent the distinct detection of the individual objects.
If a lightning symbol is displayed
in addition to the AC mode and
the bar diagram, the found object
is a LIVE CONDUCTIVE
ELECTRIC CABLE.
