Battery instructions
z Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Every consumer is
legally obligated to dispose of batteries properly at the designated collection
centres.
z Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries! Explosion hazard!
z Keep batteries away from children, do not throw into fire, short circuit or
dismantle.
z If you suspect a battery to have been swallowed, seek immediate medical
attention.
z Pay attention to correct polarity when inserting.
z Clean battery and device contacts prior to insertion, if required. Immediately
remove depleted batteries from the device! Increased leakage hazard!
z Do not expose batteries to any extreme conditions, e.g. on radiators or direct
sunlight! Increased leakage hazard!
z Failure to comply with this could result in batteries being discharged beyond
their final charge voltage! Remove batteries immediately, in order to avoid
damage.
