7.4 MP3 playback

You can enjoy music or audio books in MP3 format with the

digital receiver. To play an MP3 ﬁle, take the following steps:

1. Press the button and then the or button to dis-

play the MP3 list.

2. Put the highlight bar on a desired ﬁle; if you want to play

several ﬁles, select them with the









F1 button.

3. Press the









OK button to start playback.

4. To stop playback, press the button.

To play all MP3 ﬁles in a subfolder, put the highlight bar on a

desired folder, and press the button.

7.5 Formatting the hard disk

If a new hard drive is installed, it must be formatted because

you can neither record nor use time-shift with an unformatted

hard disk.

You can delete permanently all contents stored in the hard

drive by formatting it. If you wish to do that, select the In-

stallation > Format Hard Disk menu, then you get asked for

conﬁrmation. If you select Yes, formatting will start.
