Important:Tomakesurethebedknifeandthereel
arenotdamagedwhilethemowersaretransported
toorinstalledonthetowingframe,rotatethe
bedknifeadjustingknobcounterclockwiseuntil
bedknifedoesnottouchthereel.

Procedure
Theheightofcutisadjustableinapproximately2.38mm
(3/32inch)incrementsbyraisingorloweringrearroller.
1.Loosenthecapscrewssecuringtheadjustingnutsinthe
rollerbrackets(Figure7).

ofnotchesshowbelowtheadjustingnuts.

cuttingheight.
Note:Thesearebenchsettings.Themowerwillcut
atadifferentheightinturfbecauseofgrassconditions
andtheweightofthemower.
4.Tomakeaneradjustmenttothecuttingheightor
toadjusttheroller,theadjustingnutmaybemoved
1/2notchor1.19mm(3/64ofaninch)byusingthe
followingprocedure:
A.Removethecapscrewandtheadjustingnut
securingtherollerbrackettothegearcase.Do
notmovetherollerbracket
B.Repositionthecapscrewandtheadjustingnutto
theupperholeinthegearcase.
C.Slidetherollerbracketupordown1/2notchto
positiontheadjustingnutintothecorrectnotch
andtightenthecapscrew .
