Adjustingthecuttingheightmaybringyouinto
contactwiththemovingblade,causingserious
injury.
•Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingparts
tostop.
•Weargloveswhilehandlingtheexibladeor
cutterbar.
CAUTION
Iftheenginehasbeenrunning,themuferwillbe
hotandcanseverelyburnyou.Keepawayfromthe
hotmufer.
Adjustthecuttingheightasdesired.
1.Turnthefuelswitchtotheoffposition.
2.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.
3.Tiltthemachineonitsleftside.
4.Wearingprotectivegloves,removethe
exiblade/cutterbar.
5.Removetheretainingbolt.
6.Repositionthespacerstothedesiredheight,then
reinstalltheexiblade/cutterbar(Figure14,Figure13).
