6.Iftheoillevelislow,slowlypouroilintotheoilll
hole,wait3minutes,andchecktheoillevelonthe
dipstickbywipingthedipstickcleanandtheninserting,
butnotscrewingin,theoilllcapintothehole.
Note:Max.ll:0.59l(20oz.)SAE10W-30detergent
oilwithanAPIserviceclassicationofSF,SG,SH,
SJ,SL,orhigher.
Note:Filltheenginecrankcasewithoiluntilthe
dipstickindicatesthattheengineoilleveliscorrectas
showninFigure12.Ifyouoverlltheenginewith
oil,removetheexcessoilasdirectedinChangingthe
EngineOil.
7.Installthedipstickandhandtightenitsecurely.

AdjustingtheCuttingHeight
WARNING
Adjustingthecuttingheightmaybringyouinto
contactwiththemovingblade,causingserious
injury.
Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingparts
tostop.
Weargloveswhilehandlingthecutterbar.
CAUTION
Iftheenginehasbeenrunning,themuferwillbe
hotandcanseverelyburnyou.Keepawayfromthe
hotmufer.
Adjustthecuttingheightasdesired.
1.Turnthefuelswitchtotheoffposition.
2.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.
3.Tiltthemachineonitsleftside.
4.Wearingprotectivegloves,removethecutterbar.
5.Repositionthespacerstothedesiredheight,then
reinstallthecutterbar(Figure13).
