enginewithoil.

1.Movethemachinetoalevelsurface.
2.Removethedipstickbyrotatingthecap
counterclockwiseandpullingitout(Figure5).

4.Wait3minutesfortheoiltosettleintheengine.
5.Wipethedipstickcleanwithacleancloth.
6.Insertthedipstickintotheoil-lltube,butdonot
screwitin,thenremovethedipstick.
7.Readtheoillevelonthedipstick(Figure5).
•Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoolow,
carefullypourasmallamountofoilintothe
oil-lltube,wait3minutes,andrepeatsteps
5through7untiltheoilonthedipstickisat
thecorrectlevel.
•Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoohigh,drain
theexcessoiluntiltheoilonthedipstickis
atthecorrectlevel;refertoChangingthe
EngineOil(page16).
Important:Iftheoillevelintheengineistoo
lowortoohighandyouruntheengine,you
maydamagetheengine.
8.Installthedipstickandhandtightenitsecurely.
Important:Changetheengineoilafterthe
rst5operatinghours;changeityearly
thereafter.RefertoChangingtheEngineOil
(page16).
