Becomefamiliarwiththesafeoperationofthe
equipment,operatorcontrols,andthesafetysigns.
Alloperatorsandmechanicsshouldbetrained.
Theownerisresponsiblefortrainingtheusers.
Neverletchildrenoruntrainedpeopleoperateor
servicetheequipment.Localregulationsmay
restricttheageoftheoperator.
Theowner/usercanpreventandisresponsible
foraccidentsorinjuriesoccurringtothemselves,

Donotputhandsorfeetnearorunderthe
machine.
Evaluatetheterraintodeterminewhataccessories
andattachmentsareneededtoproperlyand

Cleartheareaofobjectssuchasrocks,wire,
toys,etc.,whichcouldbethrownbythecutting
line.Staybehindthehandlewhentheengineis
running.
Besuretheareaisclearofbystandersbefore
operating.Stopmachineifanyoneentersthearea.
Alwayswearsubstantial,slip-resistantfootwear
andlongpants.
Wearappropriateclothingincludinghardhat,
safetyglasses,andhearingprotection.Tieback
longhair.Donotwearjewelry.
Donotpullmachinebackwardunlessabsolutely
necessary.Alwayslookdownandbehindbefore
andwhilemovingbackward.

andcrossingroadsandsidewalks.Stopcutting
elementifnotmowing.
Neverdirectdischargedmaterialtowardanyone.
Avoiddischargingmaterialagainstawallor

Checkthattheoperator’spresencecontrols,
safetyswitches,andshieldsareattachedand
functioningproperly.donotoperateunlessthey
arefunctioningproperly.
Neverleavearunningmachineunattended.
Stoptheengineandwaituntilthecuttingline
comestoacompletestop,andremovethespark
plugwirebeforecleaningoruncloggingthe
machine.
Operatemachineonlyindaylightorgoodarticial
light.
