Operatingamachineonaslopesteeperthanthat
speciedbythemachinemanufacturercouldresult
inpossibleinjuryordeath.
Followtheslopelimitsspeciedbythetractor
manufacturer.
Donotusethemoweronslopesgreaterthan
15degreeswiththecuttingunitslowered,or
greaterthan10degreeswiththecuttingunits
raised.
Reducetheslopeangleasrequiredifthestability
angleofthetowingtractorislessthanthatof
themower.
1.Withthetractorcoupledtothemachineinastraight
lineandparkedinapositiontogivetheshortest
PTO-shaftlength(Figure16),applythehandbrakeof
thetractor,turntheignitionswitchtotheOFFposition,
andapplythemowerparkingbrake.
