andoutsideofeachshaft.
Important:Burrsandroughedgeswilldamage
theRilsancoatingontheshaftsandshortenthe
workinglifeoftheshaft.
9.Drilla25mm(1inch)holeontheinnerguardtube
through1wallonly,andremoveallburrs(Figure19).

lengtheverytimethatyouconnectthemowertoadifferent
tractor.
Connectthemowertoatractor;refertoConnectingthe
MowertoaTractor(page22).
1.RemovethePTOshaft.
2.Positionthetractor/mowercombinationwiththe
tractorturningsharplyonasteepdownwardslopeand
themoweronlevelground(Figure20).

Followtheslopelimitsspeciedbythe
tractormanufacturer.
Donotusethemoweronslopesgreater
than15degreeswiththecuttingunits
lowered,orgreaterthan10degreeswith
thecuttingunitsraised.
Reducetheslopeangleasrequiredifthe
stabilityangleofthetowingtractorisless
thanthatofthemower.
