penetrateskinandcauseinjury.
Makesurethatallhydraulicuidhosesand
linesareingoodconditionandallhydraulic
connectionsandttingsaretightbefore
applyingpressuretothehydraulicsystem.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin-hole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthigh-pressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks.
Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulicsystem
beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.
Getimmediatemedicalhelpifuidisinjected
intoskin.
1.Lowerthecuttingunitstothegroundanddrainthe
hydraulicuidbyremovingthehydraulic-tankdrain
plug.
2.Removetheoil-tank-llerangetoaccessthestrainer
insidethetank.
3.Unscrewandremovethestrainer.
4.Cleanthestrainerinparafn(kerosene).
Note:Replacethestrainerifitisdamaged.
5.Installthestrainer.
Replacethereturn-lineoil-lterelement;refertoChanging
theHydraulic-FluidReturnFilter(page30).
