Thisproductiscapableofamputatinghandsand
feetandofthrowingobjects.Alwaysfollowallsafety
instructionstoavoidseriouspersonalinjury.
Read,understand,andfollowtheinstructions
andwarningsinthisOperatorsManualandon
themachineandattachmentsbeforestartingthe
engine.
Donotputyourhandsorfeetnearmovingpartsof
orunderthemachine.Keepclearofanydischarge
opening.
Donotoperatethemachinewithoutallguards
andothersafetyprotectivedevicesinplaceand
functioningproperlyonthemachine.
Keepbystandersandchildrenoutoftheoperating
area.Donotallowchildrentooperatethemachine.
Allowonlypeoplewhoareresponsible,trained,
familiarwiththeinstructions,andphysically
capabletooperatethemachine.
Stopthemachine,shutofftheengine,remove
theignitionkey(ifequipped),andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeservicing,fueling,or
uncloggingthemachine.
Improperlyusingormaintainingthismachinecan
resultininjury.Toreducethepotentialforinjury,
complywiththesesafetyinstructionsandalways
payattentiontothesafety-alertsymbol
,which
meansCaution,Warning,orDanger—personalsafety
instruction.Failuretocomplywiththeseinstructions
mayresultinpersonalinjuryordeath.
CuttingUnitSafety
Thecuttingunitisonlyacompletemachinewhen
installedonatractionunit.Readthetraction
unitOperator’sManualcarefullyforcomplete
instructionsonthesafeuseofthemachine.
Stopthemachine,removethekey,andwaitfor
allmovingpartstostopbeforeinspectingthe
attachmentafterstrikinganobjectorifthereis
anabnormalvibrationinthemachine.Makeall
necessaryrepairsbeforeresumingoperation.
Keepallpartsingoodworkingconditionandall
hardwaretightened.Replaceallwornordamaged
decals.
Useonlyaccessories,attachments,and
replacementpartsapprovedbyToro.
