AdjustingthePTOSafetySwitch

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage

thePTO,andengagetheparkingbrake.

2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait

forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe

operatingposition.

3.DisengagethePTO.Makesurethattheassist

armisagainstthefrontassiststoparm.

4.Ifneeded,adjustthebladesafetyswitchby

looseningtheboltsholdingtheswitchbracket

(Figure13).

5.Movethemountingbracketuntilthebellcrank

pressestheplungerby6mm(1/4inch).

Makesurethatthebellcrankdoesnottouch

theswitchbodyordamagetotheswitchcould

occur(Figure13).

6.Tightentheswitchmountingbracket.
