1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.Shutoff
theengine,settheparkingbrake,andremove
thekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
2.Ensurethatthecirclipisttedtothedriveend
only.
3.Unlatchandlowertherelevantarmtothe
ground.
4.Slidethecuttingunitontothepinuntilthearm
bushingcontactsthepivotcasting.
Note:Installtheexistingwasheronthecenter
cuttingunitbetweenthearmandpivotcasting
(Figure13).
5.Installthewasherandlocknut(M24)andtighten
thelocknut(Figure12).
6.Loosenthelocknutby1/8to1/4turntoallowthe
cuttingunittopivotfreely.
7.Attachthecutting-unitmotortothedriveendof
thecuttingunitusingthefastenerspreviously
removed.
8.Tightentheboltstoatorqueof80N∙m(59ft-lb).

SharpeningKit.
CheckingtheBladeBolts
ServiceInterval:Every50hours
Makesurethatallbladeboltsaretorquedto45N∙m
(33ft-lb).

Inspecttherearguardforwearordamage(Figure
14).Replacetherearguardifitisdamagedtoprevent
objectsbeingthrownintotheoperator’sarea.

controltotheslowengine-speedposition,and
engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Lowerthecuttingunitstothegroundorsecurely
locktheminthedesignatedtransportposition.
4.Shutofftheengine,removetheignitionkey,and
waitfortheailrotorstostopmoving.
