systemfor5minutestoallowallairbubblestobepurgedfromthesystem.Checkthelevelafterthisperiod
andtopupisnecessary.Theoccasionalairbubblecanbeaccepted.
Important:Donotspillcompressoroilonthevehiclesurface.Itcancausediscolorationofvehicle
paintanddeteriorationofacrylicorABSplasticcomponents.
Whenattachingtheclimatichoses,oilthesealingringswithrefrigeratoroil.
Afterremovalofclimatichosesfromtheair-conditionersystem,alwaysreplacetheO-ringswithnewones
speciedforrefrigerant134A.

CheckingtheRefrigerant
Pressure
Whenusingtheair-conditioningsystemtheoperating
pressureisdifferentonthesuctionsideandthe
pressuresideofthecompressor.
Thispressuredifferenceisinuencedbythespeed
ofthecompressor,theinsidetemperatureofthe
vehicle,theoutsideairtemperatureandtherelative
airhumidity.
Pressuresthatdifferfromthoseinthetablebelow
indicateapossiblefaultinthesystem.
Tocheckthepressures,setthecompressorspeedto
2000rpmwithanairtemperaturebetween20and
40degreesC(68and104degreesF).Operatethe
bloweratposition3(fastestspeedsetting).
