Mounting the Brackets 2 WARNING Installing the Rear Lights Using a drill without proper eye protection may allow debris to enter the eye, causing injury. Parts needed for this procedure: When drilling or carrying out other operation, always wear eye protection.

Install the red stop/tail light and the amber rear indicator light to the rear face of the light guard using 3 hex-head screws (M5 x 20 mm), 6 washers (M5), and 3 locknuts (M5; Figure 4). 9.

. Repeat step 3 to install the amber rear indicator light beneath the stop/tail light. 5. Tighten all fasteners. 6. Feed all electrical cables down the front of the roll bar frame and onto the electrical mount panel. 7. Connect the connector lead to the main wiring loom of the machine (Figure 5). 8. Connect 1 black and green connector to the rear indicator light connector and the black, red, and orange connector to the stop/tail light connector (Figure 5). g028923 Figure 6 1.

2. Drill a hole, 8 mm (5/16 inch), on the center of the bulkhead, 15 mm (5/8 inch) from the center line of the bulkhead (Figure 7). 4. Install the number plate to the number-plate bracket using 2 hex-head screws (M6), 4 washers (M6), and 2 locknuts (M6). Connecting the Wires 3. Remove the hex nut and washer from each light and use them to install the lights (Figure 16). 1. 3. Feed the longest end of the connector lead down the control arm (Figure 23). 7. Connect the light switch and hazard switch referring to the labels on the connectors identifying them (Figure 24). 8. 6. Apply the adhesive reflectors to the engine cover, aligning the outside edge of the reflector 10 to 15 cm (4 to 6 inches) from the edge of the engine cover (Figure 26). g028978 Figure 26 1. Brake Lights Operation The brake lights automatically turn on when the machine is decelerating (when the control pedal is returning to neutral, when travelling in a forward direction only). Position the marker lights (front and rear). Press the top of the switch—the switch will illuminate and the red (rear) and white (front) marker lights will turn on. Adjusting the Headlights Maintenance Adjust the headlights so that the horizontal part of the cutoff of the beam is tilted downward at 2.0%.
